Slim LED Recessed Downlights 5W, IP44, Pack of 10

A pack of ten slim LED downlights, each 98 mm across and only 24 mm deep, made for false ceilings where there is little space above. The flat, low profile sits neatly in the ceiling of a majlis, kitchen, hallway or bathroom, and with ten in one pack the same look can run through several rooms, giving each ceiling a tidy, even layout.

Each downlight gives 450 lumens from 5W with a wide 120 degree beam, which spreads the light across the room rather than into a narrow spot. The light is offered in warm white at 2700 to 3000K, natural white at 4000K or cool white at 6000K. Warm white gives a homely feel in the majlis and living areas, while natural and cool white suit kitchens and bathrooms where clear light is needed. The downlights connect straight to 220 to 240V with no separate driver, and they are not dimmable.

Rated IP44 against splashing water, they suit bathrooms and kitchens as well as dry rooms such as the majlis and hallway. Each one fits a ceiling hole of 75 to 90 mm, and having no separate driver keeps the space needed above the ceiling to a minimum. Because they are not dimmable, they are meant for a standard on and off wall switch rather than a dimmer. Installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
