MR16 GU5.3 LED Bulbs 12V 5W, Natural White, Pack of 6

Low voltage spotlights get an LED update with these six MR16 bulbs, which have the two pin GU5.3 base used in 12V spotlights and track lights that previously took 50W halogen bulbs. The MR16 shape matches those halogen bulbs, so the LED versions go into the same fittings. The light is natural white, 4000K, a clean and neutral tone between warm yellow and cool bluish white.

Each bulb uses 5W in place of a 50W halogen and gives 500 lumens across a wide 120 degree beam. They run on 12V AC or DC, so the existing transformer in the fitting stays in place and only the bulbs change. Because the transformer stays, there is no rewiring involved in the swap. The wide beam spreads light over a larger area, which suits general lighting from ceiling spotlights as well as track lights.

Natural white works well in kitchens, dressing areas, offices, studies and display shelves, where clear light helps with everyday tasks. A pack of six is enough to update several spotlights at once with matching light, and any remaining bulbs can be kept as matching spares. Switch off the power and let any old halogen bulb cool before removing it, then press the two pins of the new bulb firmly into the holder.
