GU10 LED Bulbs 5W, Dimmable, Warm White, Pack of 10

Ten GU10 LED spotlight bulbs in warm white, 2700K, for spotlight fittings that take the GU10 twist and lock base. Each one uses 5W in place of a 50W halogen bulb, so the existing fittings stay in place while only the bulbs change. Swapping halogen for LED keeps the familiar look of the spotlights while cutting the power each one uses. The warm tone gives a soft, yellowish light for living rooms, bedrooms, corridors and the majlis.

Each bulb gives 375 lumens across a wide 120 degree beam, which spreads the light more broadly than a narrow spot. On a leading edge dimmer they dim smoothly from 10% to 100%, from full light for everyday use down to a low glow at night, and dimmed down they suit evenings with guests or a quiet night in. They also work on a normal switch without any dimmer.

Rated for up to about 15,000 hours, a pack of ten covers a row of ceiling spotlights in one go, keeping the colour and brightness the same across the room, and any bulbs left over can be kept as spares. Where a dimmer is fitted, check that it is a leading edge type before use. Switch off the power and allow any old halogen bulb to cool before removing it, as halogen bulbs get hot in use.
