White Ceramic Table Lamp with Translucent Shade, E14

Kiln fired white ceramic gives this small table lamp its soft, natural character. The ceramic is fired at above 1300°C, and the shade is thin enough for light to pass through, which brings out its organic texture. Measuring about 14.1 x 14.1 x 24.1 cm and weighing about 0.8 kg, it has a compact footprint and a calm, understated look that suits simple and modern rooms alike.

When lit, the translucent ceramic glows from within and casts soft shadows across its textured surface, giving a gentle, diffused light rather than a direct beam. The lamp takes one E14 bulb, which is not included, and the E14 LED candle and golf ball bulbs sold in the store fit it. The choice of bulb sets the colour of the glow, from warm for evenings to a whiter light for reading.

At about 24 cm tall and 14 cm wide, it sits well on a nightstand, a console in the entrance or a shelf in the majlis, and its white finish blends with light walls and wood furniture. It works as a soft evening light by the bed, a welcoming glow by the front door or a decorative piece among books and plants, and it makes a simple gift for a new home. Its small size also makes it easy to use in pairs, one on each side of a bed or a sofa.
