Vintage Candle Lanterns, White with Gold Brush, Set of 2

Small, vintage and softly distressed, these two lanterns have a white iron frame brushed in gold for a gentle, worn in look that suits classic rooms. Each one has four clear tempered glass panes, a shaped top and a hanging ring, so it can stand on a table or a shelf, or hang from a hook. The clear panes show the candle from every side, while the shaped top gives each lantern a traditional outline.

Each lantern is about 13 x 10 cm at the base and 25 cm tall, or about 28 cm including the ring, and weighs about 430 g, light enough to move around easily. Inside there is room for a tea light, a votive or a small pillar candle up to about 7.6 x 10 cm, real or flameless, so the type of candle can change with the occasion.

As a pair, they make a soft, classic centrepiece on a dining table, a welcoming touch on an entrance table or a quiet accent on a shelf in the majlis. Together they read as a matched pair, and each one also works alone in a different room. Candles are not included. When real candles are used, never leave them burning unattended, and keep the lanterns away from children, pets and curtains.
