6-Light Sputnik Semi Flush Ceiling Light, Black

Six slim black arms reach out from a small round ceiling plate, each ending in a bare E27 bulb, giving this sputnik light a bold, open shape with a modern industrial look. The frame is iron with a black finish, about 70 cm across at its widest point and about 20 cm deep, and the ceiling plate is about 15 cm. The spread of the arms fills a high ceiling with shape and light.

Each arm comes already wired and can be turned in any direction, so the light can spread wide across the room or point down over a dining table, and the angles can be changed again later if the furniture moves. Bulbs are not included, which leaves the choice of warm, clear or decorative E27 bulbs open. Warm bulbs give a softer glow for a majlis, while clear bulbs bring out the bare, industrial style of the frame.

Because it is mounted semi flush and sits close to the ceiling, it also works in rooms where a long hanging chandelier would hang too low. Set over a dining table or in the middle of a majlis, it becomes the main feature of the room. It suits a majlis, a dining room, a kitchen or a bedroom, and runs on 220V. Installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
